Main Characters[]

  • The Black Enchantress/Andrea Avery-Crusoe - Daughter of Doctor Arcane & Ch'andarra, a powerful other-dimensional sorceress. Can manipulate elemental forces, both classical and modern: earth, air, fire, water, gravity; electricity, strong force, and weak force. Can also cast regular magic spells, if given enough time to prepare, Although she claims to be interested in world domination, she has been filling in for her missing father in the role of global magic cop, and has served as an affiliate member of the League of Champions. Studies part-time at the University of San Francisco, and is part owner of WitchGirls, Inc.
  • Psyche/Rose/Julia Rose Hunter - The current incarnation of Psyche, the White Sorceress Queen of Faerie. Has powerful psychic and empathic abilities, which she uses to combat evil. Can also traverse dimensional boundaries, which at times she uses to mimic teleportation. Has limited memory of previous incarnations of Psyche. Part owner of WitchGirls, Inc.
  • John Carstairs - Rough-and-tumble private eye, and Psyche's one-time protector and now mentor. Owner of Carstairs Investigations.


  • Vanity/Clarisa MacDougall - Administrative assistant for WitchGirls, Inc. Has minor mystical abilities, which she often uses to attract and bemuse men. Has set her sights on John Carstairs as potential husband material.

  • Doctor Arcane - Former self-appointed mystical guardian of Earth, now missing. Father to Andrea Avery-Crusoe.
  • Daniel Rich - Julie Rose Hunter's stepfather. Wealthy.
